The New Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have both been awarded maximum five-star ratings in the latest ANCAP safety tests. This recognition reflects the luxury SUV’s more than five decades of expertise in delivering all-terrain capability, refinement and safety.

Both models feature a comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art driver assistance technologies, which provide a responsive and refined drive. The New Range Rover is 50 percent stiffer than its predecessor and scored 87 percent for Child Occupant Protection and 72 percent for Vulnerable Road Users. Meanwhile the Range Rover Sport is 35 percent stiffer than before and received an 85 percent rating for Adult Occupant Protection. Both SUVs scored 82 percent for Safety Assist.

Both models offer a range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, which are designed to support the driver and protect passengers. Some of these technologically advanced systems include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Rear Collision Monitor with Occupation Protection Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control and Steering Assist.

New Range Rover and Range Rover Sport also utilise technologies that aim to improve driver alertness and reduce the potential for distraction. Embedded in Pivi Pro, Amazon Alexa offers the ability to control a range of settings and features using voice commands, removing the need to take hands off the wheel or eyes off the road.
