In the latest episode of ‘On the Ground: Humanitarians in Action’ from the short film series, we follow Red Cross volunteers as they assist Australian communities affected by the summer bushfires of 2019/2020. With the devastating loss of lives and homes, followed soon after by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team had their work cut out for them.

Utilising a fleet of Land Rovers to assist in their relief efforts, the team supported over 49,000 people during the bushfires and over 36,000 through the ongoing recovery program.
