As sons of Land Rover co-founder Spencer Wilks (who helped design the original vehicle with his brother Maurice), both Nick and Stephen were there for the conception of what was to become an iconic motoring brand. This foundation of family that Land Rover was built upon has always been an important part of our story.

With the sad passing of Nick Wilks, we remember him in this video as he and his brother share some wonderful memories of their father, with some fascinating insights into the brand’s early years.

Take a look at the video, which ends with a stunning representation of a Land Rover in nature, and feels like a fitting tribute to a man who was very much a part of the Land Rover family.
