The Range Rover Sport SVR takes a star turn in the latest James Bond film, No Time To Die. The stunt professionals on set pushed the vehicle to extremes as it went off-road in a chase sequence that put the luxury performance SUV in the centre of the action.

Stunt coordinator Lee Morrison said, “I was really keen to shoot a Bond chase sequence off-road, in a really challenging environment and the Range Rover Sport SVR was the perfect choice for this part of the story. We shoot everything for real so we’ve pushed it to the absolute maximum and the pursuit promises to be one of the memorable set-piece moments of the film.”

FASTEST EVER LAND ROVER THE PERFECT CHOICE

The Range Rover Sport SVR was a perfect choice for the Bond film, with its enhanced driving dynamics and powerful 423kW supercharged V8 engine. The specially tuned suspension, thanks to Special Vehicle Operations engineers, gives the vehicle more responsive handling and tighter body control. Able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds and with a top speed of 283km, it has earned the mantle of the fastest ever Land Rover.

This is not the first appearance by a Range Rover in a Bond film. In 1983 a Range Rover Convertible appeared in Octopussy and in 2015 a Range Rover Sport starred in a major action sequence in SPECTRE. No Time To Die will also feature a Range Rover Classic, alongside three Defenders and a Series III Land Rover.

Finbar McFall, Land Rover Brand and Jaguar and Land Rover Marketing Operations Director said, “The Range Rover Sport SVRs in No Time To Die strike a unique mix of stealth and performance. Now you can replicate this combination and celebrate the release of the 25th Bond film with a single click on the Land Rover configurator.”

Ahead of the film’s Australian release on November 11, watch the video of some of the behind-the-scenes action featuring the Range Rover Sport SVR. Then replicate the car’s No Time To Die specification using the online configurator.

Important note on imagery & specification. We are living through exceptional times. Due to the Covid pandemic we have been prevented or delayed in the creation of new images of current model years. Now the global impact of micro-chip shortages is further affecting build specifications, options and launch timings. Until this unique event settles, please note that many images cannot be updated to 22 model year specifications. Features, options, trim and colour schemes will differ from many images. Customers are urged to consult your local Retailer for detailed 22 model year specifications and do not base an order on marketing imagery and specification alone.

Jaguar Land Rover Limited is constantly seeking ways to improve the specification, design and production of its vehicles, parts and accessories and alterations take place continually, and we reserve the right to change without notice. Some features may vary between optional and standard for different model years. The information, specification, engines and colours on this website are based on European specification and may vary from market to market and are subject to change without notice.
