LAND ROVER AND LIFEFLIGHT MAKE A COMMITMENT TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

Land Rover have partnered with LifeFlight, to boost their rescue capability across land, air and sea. We’re proud to support the Land Rover LifeFlight Special Mission helicopter, a specially configured chopper with advanced response capability.

It’s one of the few aircrafts of its type and is capable of performing search and rescue (SAR) operations up to 400 kilometres offshore, night or day. It can fly in extreme weather conditions, ‘lock on’ to heat signatures to find missing people, track people in real time, even if they can’t be seen by the naked eye, and also locate wreckages and debris that aren’t easily visible.

The helicopter will be deployed for search and rescue, law enforcement, fire fighting support, surveillance, aeromedical and disaster response operations. And it’s available for immediate deployment, in Australia and beyond.

We’re also providing a fleet of vehicles, including the new Defender which is built for pushing harder and going further, to help LifeFlight take on the most challenging search and rescue operations.

The Land Rover LifeFlight Special Mission helicopter and LifeFlight’s fleet of Land Rover 4x4 vehicles is just one way we are going above and beyond to help Australian communities.

“We remain committed to playing our role in supporting communities at large, and in partnership with LifeFlight rescue services, we look forward to a long and impactful relationship and setting the benchmark for future rescue operations.”
