CLASSIC DEFENDER WORKS V8 TROPHY II CELEBRATES ALL-TERRAIN ADVENTURES

For more than 70 years, Land Rover has allowed bold adventurers to explore the toughest off-road terrains. To honour the heritage, Land Rover Classic has launched 25 exclusive expedition-inspired Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II vehicles with a distinctive camouflage design. This limited run of Classic Defenders is available in a choice of 90, 110 and 110 Double Cab Pick-Up body designs.

The unique camouflage represents 23 locations the legendary 4x4 has conquered over its history, including places from The Camel Trophy, The First Overland, and the G4 Challenge. The design also features a number of hidden Land Rovers and their iconic shape in silhouette for owners to identify.

BUILT BY HAND TO EXACTING STANDARDS

The Classic Defender Works V8 Trophy II models will be created using Defender models from 2012-2016, and stripped and rebuilt by hand to exacting standards and improved high specifications. These include uprated suspension, brakes and steering enhancements. Powered by Land Rover’s 5.0-litre V8 petrol powertrain, the vehicles feature an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Only five 110 Double Pick-Ups will be created, with the remaining 20 vehicles split equally between 90 and 110 Station Wagon body styles.

The exterior features a head-turning Fuji White and Narvik Black design, enhanced with a satin black bonnet and Land Rover Trophy heritage badging. All-terrain equipment includes front A-frame with integrated winch, powerful full-width LED light bar, rock sliders, expedition exterior roll cage and rear recovery point.

PREMIUM FINISHES THROUGHOUT

Inside, Recaro sports seats are finished in high-quality black and white Windsor leather with contrast stitching, with leather trim extending to the dashboard, doors and headlining. These touches create a premium handcrafted finish throughout the vehicle. Integrated navigation and mobile device connectivity are included with Land Rover Classic’s modern infotainment system, housed within the authentic dashboard. A bespoke Land Rover Trophy clock face by Elliot Brown is the centrepiece of the dashboard, with a unique face mirroring the exterior camouflage design.

The lucky few customers to become owners of these special vehicles will also be invited to take part in the second exclusive three-day Land Rover Trophy competition. Inspired by our renowned global adventures, customers will be guided by experts to compete in a series of points-based off-road challenges. At the end of the three-day competition, one team will claim the grand prize.
