NEW DEFENDER 130: THE UNSTOPPABLE 8-SEAT EXPLORER

Introducing the New Defender 130, adding another dimension to the all-conquering family of all-terrain vehicles, with room for up to eight adults in exceptional comfort.

Joining the Defender 90 and 110 lineup, the new variation is 340mm longer with three rows of seating in a 2+3+3 arrangement, and features a range of exterior and interior design enhancements.

Outside, the New Defender 130 has its own colour palette with a new, exclusive Sedona Red option, adding greater depth and sophistication. An Extended Bright Pack offers a distinct exterior design with Ceres Silver Satin finish around all lower body cladding, and front and rear skid plates in Noble Chrome.

Ensuring adventures begin and end effortlessly, now all Defenders with Keyless Entry - including Defender 130 - feature Approach Unlock and Automated Walkaway Lock. When the key fob is detected approaching the vehicle, it automatically unlocks when it is within 1.5 metres. When leaving the vehicle, New Defender 130 will automatically lock when the key fob is more than 1.5 metres away.

Step inside, and the new colour and material options offer a refined cabin environment. Light Oyster Perforated Windsor Leather seating is complemented by Natural Light Oak engineered wood veneer. The latest connected technologies include a new larger 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen and Cabin Air Purification Plus, which provide support and comfort for off-road adventures. The inclusion of what3words navigation gives customers accurate and precise navigation in the most remote environments, enabling them to find and navigate to any 3m square on the planet without a phone signal.

SEAMLESS RESPONSE AND ENHANCED FUEL ECONOMY

The New Defender 130 is available with a choice of powerful and efficient drivetrains. The P400 mild-hybrid 3.0-litre Ingenium six-cylinder petrol engine delivers 294kW and 550Nm torque, and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 6.6 seconds. The D300 mild-hybrid 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel offers 221kW, 650Nm torque and can reach 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds. Both drivetrains offer smooth, seamless response and enhanced fuel economy. Every Defender 130 is fitted with Electronic Air Suspension with Adaptive Dynamics and Land Rover’s advanced Terrain Response® system for unrivalled all-terrain capability and driver confidence in all environments.
